COVES AND VALLEYS: MOM AND NANNY COME TO VISIT

Mom and Nanny Winnie recently came to spend some time with me in Halifax. They had a relaxing and fun-filled vacation and two people could not have deserved it more after a difficult and emotional year of sitting by my grandfather's side while he was sick. From the casino to Mahone bay, from rock-climbing in Peggy's Cove to apple picking in the Valley, we had quite an adventurous time together. We laughed and gossiped, drank lots of tea with Carnation milk, ate way too much white bread, reminisced about Poppy Stratton and complained about crazy family members.

My mom and nanny are two of the most important people in
my life and I'm so happy I got to spend this time with them!

Don't sit under the apple tree, with anyone else but me ...
